Tiera May
Tiera May is an occult artist, author & independent publisher from northern California, currently working in the Pacific Northwest. She is the creator behind the Ritual Tarot, the Cave of Sybil Oracle and the forthcoming Hedge-Rider Tarot.
Her solitary practice is rooted in the mythic image and her art explores worldbuilding through various mediums and approaches. She takes pleasure in destroying things just as much as she enjoys creating them. Hers is the Sacred Art of Revolt.

Artist Statement:
Art is a devotional practice, a deepening of inner and outer images. Symbols are physical realities as well as psychological ones. When used ritually, the magical intention imbued within these living images spills over and infects the prosaic, inviting the viewer into the Otherworld, the world between worlds, the sacred land of the Dream.
Each body of work evolves from what came before, but every project exists as its own distinct portal. This means that the style of my art changes with each subsequent series, giving me the freedom and flexibility to explore the different worlds inside myself. We contain multitudes, countless worlds waiting to be discovered. Staying tethered to just one—even one of my own making—just isn’t enough.
