Sophia Litwak is a Capricorn Sun, Libra Rising, Gemini Moon, an artist, illustrator, Tarot reader, teacher, witch. She is the mother of a small calico cat, Persephone, and both are from Manhattan, NY, and are currently living in Paris. Sophia believes in making accessible art that helps the world, in building community that seeks to discover beauty whenever possible, in working towards greater visions of hope. She hasย been working with the Tarot all her life, a practice learned from her mom. The Tarot has saved her again and again, allowing her back into her body, back down to the ground, back towards hope. She is a lifelong student of yoga and religion, with a focus on the Jewish tradition from which she comes. A diasporic Jew, raised by anarchists and activists, she believes that this tradition calls her towards justice, directly at odds with the ideals of colonizing nation-states.
