Notice (September 2025)
Tarot Grove was launched in September of this year, so I am still figuring a lot of things out. I really appreciate your patience while I muddle through these first few months, and very much welcome any feedback about how things are/ are not working for you.
– Packaging –
What’s included in my package?
- Your deck(s)!
- Handmade thank you card
- Upcycled collage materials, eco-friendly glue, recycled kraft paper (eco-craft)
- Sachet of hand-picked rosemary & lavender
- Picked & prepared on a property with dogs – may not be suitable if you have a dog allergy. Please use the tick box or email me to ask that the sachet be removed. Both the sachet (dot boutique) and its contents are biodegradable and compostable
- Tarot Grove eco-sticker
- Printed on 100% recycled brown kraft-paper, uncoated and PCV-free (Sticker app)
- Glassine envelope
- Biodegradable, compostable (eco-craft)
- Postage box
- Made from recycled materials, they are biodegradable, plastic free, recyclable and reusable (priorydirect.co.uk).
- Wrapping tissue
- 100% recycled, acid-free tissue paper (eco-craft)
- Fabric wrap
- Upcycled fabric offcuts have been used to offer extra protection to your deck.
- Package filler
- I take my package filler from a variety of sources. I try to reuse any packaging that was sent to me in the boxes the decks arrive in. Where this is not possible I opt for biodegradable or recyclable void fill (globe packaging)
NB. I usually remove any shrink-wrap or other plastic packaging that the decks arrive to me in to ensure that it is properly recycled at my local supermarket.
Can I recycle my packaging
Everything that comes in the package (except the deck itself) is recyclable or compostable. Box, tissue, thank-you card, galssine envelope, and eco-sticker can all go in your cardboard recycling. The herbal sachets can go in your food waste bin. Any reused bubble wrap can be recycled at your local supermarket soft plastic collection point. Lastly, the fabric wrap can be recycled at your nearest textile bank recycling point.
– Shipping –
Who do you ship with?
I ship all packages with Royal Mail.
How much will postage cost?
Postage costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight and size of your parcel and shipping destination. £1.50 is added to all shipping costs to help cover packaging and ensure I can keep using the most sustainable suppliers.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, I currently ship decks internationally. However, postage and customs charges outside of the UK can be substantial, so please ensure you are aware of that before buying. See below for more about customs.
What about customs charges?
If you are an international buyer (outside the UK), additional customs charges may apply to your package when it arrives in your country. Please check your country’s customs policy before making an order to ensure that you understand and are happy with the possible charges. I am unable to provide an estimate of customs charges for you, and you are solely responsible for paying them. I’m afraid I cannot accept returns on the basis that you do not want to pay the customs charge. If the deck is returned to me because you have not paid your customs charges, I will be unable to provide you with a refund.
Where can I find my tracking number?
Your tracking number will be shared in an email to you within 48hrs of your purchase.
When will my package be dispatched?
I typically pop to the local post office to dispatch orders twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
– Returns –
Do you accept returns?
If the deck arrives damaged or is faulty in some way then I will absolutely accept a return, yes!
Unfortunately I cannot accept returns for any other reasons. I am a small business and do not have the capacity to process a large number of returns where those would like to try-out or take a look at a deck before deciding if they want to keep it.
I would encourage you to take your time in choosing your decks, read the descriptions, look at our interviews with deck creators and watch our deck walk-throughs (or others’) before buying 🙂
How do I return my deck?
Just email me at info@tarotgrove.co.uk with photos of the damage within 7 days of receiving the deck. Please include damage to both the external packaging and the deck itself, where appropriate.
I can usually offer you a refund, a replacement deck or an exchange if the original deck is no longer available (we have limited stock of some decks).
In all cases, you will need to send the damaged deck back to me. I will provide you with a pre-paid returns label for this by email.
– Payments –
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit/ debit cards, Google Pay, Apply Pay, and Payapal
Is it safe to enter my card details on your site?
Yes — our website is protected with SSL encryption (you’ll see “https://” in the web address), which keeps your connection secure. We don’t store or see your payment details. All transactions are processed safely by WooPayments and PayPal, both of which are trusted and PCI-compliant providers that handle card information to the highest security standards.
